WHO IS HINDU?

जब हम हिंदू धर्म की बात करते हैं, तो उससे पहले एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण शब्द जुड़ता है — "चिरंतन" या "सनातन"। यह धर्म आदि से अनंत तक है। "हिंदू" शब्द को लेकर यह धारणा प्रचलित है कि यह कोई अत्यंत प्राचीन शब्द नहीं है, लेकिन "चिरंतन" या "सनातन" धर्म वह परंपरा है जो अनादि और अनंत से चली आ रही है।

संभव है कि प्राचीन समय में इस धर्म को विभिन्न नामों से जाना जाता रहा हो, किंतु वर्तमान में यह एक व्यापक और सर्वमान्य जीवन पद्धति बन चुका है। यह जीवन शैली वेदों, पुराणों, ऋचाओं तथा शास्त्रों के माध्यम से निर्धारित की गई व्यवस्था पर आधारित है।

चिरंतन हिंदू या सनातनी हिंदू विभिन्न पंथों, देवी-देवताओं में विश्वास रखने वाले हो सकते हैं, किंतु उनके जीवन का अंतिम उद्देश्य एक ही होता है — जीवन को सद्गति प्रदान करना। पूजा-पद्धतियाँ, धार्मिक अनुष्ठान और परंपराएँ भिन्न हो सकती हैं, परंतु सभी मार्ग अंततः एक ही लक्ष्य की ओर अग्रसर होते हैं।

When we talk about Hinduism, it is essential to first associate it with the word "Chirantan" (eternal) or "Sanatan" (everlasting). This is a religion that exists from the beginning of time and will continue eternally. There is a common belief that the word "Hindu" is not an ancient term, but "Chirantan" or "Sanatan" Dharma is a tradition that has existed since time immemorial.

It is possible that in earlier times, this faith was known by various names. However, today it is recognized as a widely accepted way of life — a lifestyle based on the systems established through the Vedas, Puranas, hymns (Richas), and other scriptures.

A Chirantan or Sanatani Hindu may follow different sects or believe in different deities, yet the ultimate goal of life remains the same — to attain spiritual elevation and liberation (sadgati). The methods of worship, religious rituals, and customs may vary among communities, but all paths ultimately lead to the same divine truth.

GAU MATA & HINDU


 

प्रत्येक हिंदू को अपने घर में गौ-पालन अवश्य करना चाहिए। जिस प्रकार गंगाजल प्रत्येक हिंदू घर में अनिवार्य रूप से रखा जाता है और उसे मां गंगा का स्वरूप मानकर पूजा जाता है, तथा तुलसी को साक्षात श्रीविष्णु और लक्ष्मी जी का प्रतीक मानकर श्रद्धा से सेवा की जाती है, उसी प्रकार प्रत्येक सनातनी के घर में गौ माता का होना भी अनिवार्य है।

हालांकि वर्तमान परिस्थितियों में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के लिए जीवित गौ-पालन कर पाना संभव नहीं है।

इसी विचार को लेकर हमने अनेक विद्वान संतों से विचार-विमर्श किया कि यह कैसे संभव हो सकता है। विभिन्न मतों के बीच चर्चा हुई, परंतु अंततः सर्वसम्मति से यह निष्कर्ष निकला कि यदि हर घर में जीवित गौ माता का पालन संभव नहीं है, तो जैसे गंगाजल को मां गंगा का प्रतीक मानकर पूजा जाता है और तुलसी को भगवान विष्णु और लक्ष्मी का प्रतीक मानकर पूजनीय माना जाता है — उसी प्रकार गौ माता के किसी जीवंत प्रतीक को भी हर घर में श्रद्धा के साथ स्थापित किया जाना चाहिए।

Every Hindu should ideally practice cow care (Gau-Palan) in their home. Just as Ganga water (Ganga Jal) is considered essential in every Hindu household and is worshipped as a form of Mother Ganga, and Tulsi (Holy Basil) is revered as a living embodiment of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, in the same way, it is essential for every Sanatani (follower of Sanatan Dharma) to have a presence of Gau Mata (Mother Cow) in their home.

However, in the present circumstances, it may not be possible for everyone to maintain a live cow at home.

With this concern in mind, we consulted many learned saints and scholars to explore how this could be made possible. After receiving many perspectives, a unanimous conclusion was reached — if it is not feasible to keep a living cow in every home, then just as Ganga Jal is worshipped as a representation of Mother Ganga, and Tulsi is worshipped as a symbol of Vishnu and Lakshmi, in the same way, a living symbol or sacred representation of Gau Mata should be respectfully established in every household.

संत पुरुषों, गुरुजनों और ईश्वर के आशीर्वाद से, उपरोक्त अवधारणा को मूर्त रूप देने के लिए हमने अथक प्रयास किए हैं। गौ माता के जीवंत तत्व — जैसे गौयमकार्षि,   गौजल   और    गौरज — को अत्यंत वैदिक विधियों से संकलित कर, धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों के साथ एक दिव्य संरचना का निर्माण किया गया है, जिसमें प्रकृति और शुद्धता को सर्वोच्च स्थान दिया गया है। गुरुजनों के निर्देशानुसार इस संरचना को   ‘गौ सप्राण™’   नाम दिया गया है। यह संरचना, गुरुजनों, ऋषि-मुनियों और संत पुरुषों की उस भावना को साकार करने का एक प्रयास है, जिसके अनुसार हर सनातनी गृहस्थ के घर में गौ माता के जीवंत प्रतीक होने चाहिए। वह दिन अब दूर नहीं जब प्रत्येक सनातनी/चिरंतन हिंदू के पूजा-घर में गौ माता का जीवित प्रतीक स्थापित होगा, और हर हिंदू को गौ सेवा का सौभाग्य प्राप्त होगा। गौ माता के आशीर्वाद से हर परिवार में सुख, समृद्धि और शांति का वास होगा तथा सभी प्रकार के कष्टों का नाश होगा।
 

गौ माता की जय! और हर परिवार गर्व से कहेगा — "मैं चिरंतन / सनातनी हिंदू हूँ!"

With the blessings of saints, spiritual gurus, and the grace of God, we have made tireless efforts to bring the above concept into reality. The living elements of Gau Mata — such as Gauyamkarshi, Gaujal, and Gauraj — have been carefully collected using highly Vedic methods and sanctified through religious rituals to create a divine structure, in which nature and purity have been given the highest importance.

Following the guidance of revered gurus, this sacred structure has been named ‘Gau Sapran’. This structure is an effort to embody the vision of spiritual masters, sages, and saints who believed that there should be a living symbol of Gau Mata in every Sanatani household.

The day is not far when every Sanatani/eternal Hindu will have a living symbol of Gau Mata installed in their place of worship, and each Hindu will be blessed with the opportunity to serve her. With the blessings of Gau Mata, every household will be filled with happiness, prosperity, and peace, and all forms of suffering will be removed.

Victory to Gau Mata! And every family will proudly proclaim — "I am a Chiranthan / Sanatani Hindu!"
